New EP (for real) - June 8, 2009
So we are expecting to have the new EP done sometime in July. It's been a really interesting process, and everything is sounding very good at the moment. We have a lot of people to thank for their generosity, and support. We will have a name for the record soon as well as a release date. More shows are on the way, and thank you to everyone who came to our recent shows. Ok for now...

Well hello there. We are currently working on the followup to 'Strangers', and hopefully we will have it finished shortly. The theme for the new record is to make everything as difficult as possible for no particular reason as we are difficult people and we have difficult fun. We don't have a release date as yet, but think positive thoughts about March/April and you will probably not be disappointed, unless something happens in your own life, the lose of a job, or a rare japanese import CD, and then you can be disappointed all you like. Perhaps our new record can serve as a consolation in your time of need, should such aformentioned need arise. Okay let's get on with it...
It's Just An Exploding Star - March 22, 2008
From Wikipedia:
Research has been conducted to investigate the consequences of Earth being hit by a beam of gamma rays from a nearby (about 500 light years) gamma ray burst. This is motivated by the efforts to explain mass extinctions on Earth and estimate the probability of extraterrestrial life. A gamma ray burst at 6000 light years would result in mass extinction; a 1000 light year distant burst would be equivalent to a 100,000 megaton nuclear explosion. A burst 100 light years away would blow away the atmosphere, create tidal waves, and start to melt the surface of the earth. There is a one in a million chance that there could be a gamma ray burst as near as the earth's closest star, Alpha Centauri, in the lifetime of the earth. Such a burst, at 4.3 lightyears distant, would effectively incinerate the earth.
Live it up.

Good evening all. We are currently putting together some shows for you in the northwest, and this summer, hopefully, we will be visiting those of you down the coast in Oregon and California. We've got some new songs and we're very excited to play them for you. Shortly, Senator Barack Obama will be giving a speech addressing race in his campaign for President. I feel very sorry that this even has to happen. Until recently, we have proven that we can look beyond race in this campaign, and if we can prove that we have, indeed, grown as a species, this will be a profound blessing for our country and the world. We need to choose the right person this time, not the right demographic. We need to evolve. Good night to you.

Well, this is the first blog entry for my new website. Thank you for stopping by. I'll update this often so come back and see what's up. My first record, "Strangers" is almost finished. It should arrive sometime in late June. I'll have a more specific date soon. It's taken a long time to make this record, but I think the time has made it better. It's had a chance to breathe a little, but at this point I'm getting anxious to finally finish. So stay tuned, and I'll let you know how it pans out.
